Fall litter planned

Juno 11wks old.jpg

At 4 to 5 weeks of age Kozie's German Shepherd pups have the opportunity to be outside during

the day, if weather permits. I strongly believe that all puppies need to be introduced to the world

around them at a very young age.

By the time Kozie's pups are 8 weeks of age they will have been slowly and properly introduced to a

variety of different types of sounds, sights, and smells. Some examples of these stimuli include:

  • Flashing Lights

  • Whistles

  • Gun shots

  • Lawn Mowers

  • Fire

  • Rag and Ball (Prey Drive Activation)

  • And most important of all, contact with people of all ages

Temperament testing is done on Kozies's pups from 6-8 weeks of age. Using the results of this test

along with information I have previously recorded on each pup, gives me good direction for placement, depending on the dogs purpose.
